Low-Impact Interval Training
“Improve your heart, strength and mood with Low-Impact Interval Training.”

A personal message from Specialist Physiotherapist, Wendy McCloud
We introduce Low-intensity interval training, as we saw several people in the clinic who were struggling with joint pain. Our clients still want to increase their strength, reduce body fat and improve cardiovascular health.
WDC Low-Impact Interval Training (LIIT) will help individuals with joint pain due to its reduced impact on joints and muscles, as well as its potential to improve strength and stability. LIIT can help reduce inflammation and pain by decreasing mechanical stress on joints and bones. It also supports the building of stronger muscles around the joints, which can provide better support and stability.
Our classes are run by a degree-level Physiotherapist with a passion for musculoskeletal health. They can adjust exercises to ensure a good workout while minimising impact on the joints of the body.
Our class is suitable for those who want to exercise for their general health, fitness, and to remain active without causing more pain in their joints.
