Chartered physiotherapist BSc (hons)
I’m a qualified physiotherapist with a BSc in Psychology and an MSc inPhysiotherapy. My passion for physiotherapy was shaped by my experience as a Division 1 athlete in the US, where I competed for four years on a full athletic scholarship. After experiencing recurring injuries, I took greater ownership of my recovery during my senior year and completed my final season injury-free. This taught me the importance of physiotherapy and, combined with my background in Psychology, showed me how much better recovery can be when patients understand their injury and how to manage it.
I’ve gained experience through clinical placements in the UK and private clinics in Barbados, with particular interests in sports therapy, MSK and orthopaedics. I’m passionate about helping people understand their bodies, build confidence and return to doing what they love.
I’m naturally nurturing, probably from having six younger siblings who are always coming to me with questions, stories and requests for help! Outside of physiotherapy, I enjoy staying active, travelling, video games and getting lost in a good fantasy book.
