Physiotherapist

Megan qualified as a physiotherapist at the University of Winchester. She has experience in various sectors of Physiotherapy but finds her passion in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy. From a young age, Megan was an athlete, competing in the diving field.

Although she no longer competes, she still enjoys swimming and diving, the gym and running, which is one of the factors that led her into physiotherapy and MSK. She looks forward to helping as many people as possible achieve their goals and return to doing the things they love most.

I had dreadful problems with my left foot and I was experiencing pain between the toes and the sole of the foot. I signed up for some therapy and Megan was excellent. I was diagnosed quickly, underwent the 12 sessions gradually losing the pain and strengthening my foot to the point I actually forget I have had an issue. I would recommend WDC, they are patient, professional and most importantly they get you fixed!

All the people that work here are absolute stars. From the moment I stepped through the door I felt welcome, important and listened to, which are all very important things if you’re not feeling too great about yourself, apprehensive about revealing your difficulties and issues, or just intimidated by this sort of venture. The initial discussions were candid and detailed, but the resultant plans and goals were tweaked at each session to take into account areas of progress or those in need of further attention as required.Yes, it was emotional. Yes, the therapists do seem to have magic at their fingertips as they somehow reversed years of accumulated aches, pains and grumbles. Yes, it is worth the temporary pain and discomfort you will feel as the therapists kneed you back into shape. Yes, you do need to be disciplined and ensure you keep up with the agreed exercises in between sessions. Yes, I really have noticed a big change in me.I now sit and stand taller and much more confidently. I have no annoying aches other than in muscles which have been underused but are now being stretched. I have a very physically demanding job which now seems so much easier to do and causes me considerably less fatigue than it had done. I am more flexible and strong than I was and feel about 10 years younger and so much happier.I have more energy, less fear and a girlfriend that is delighted with her newly energetic and pain-free partner. Without doubt one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I was recommended here because of a serious knee injury. They offer the highest possible service from the very outset. All staff are highly professional and dedicated to providing the best possible service for all clients. Greeted warmly by the reception staff, given advice about services and made very welcome.My physiotherapist, Vedika, made me feel at ease, spending my first hour ensuring she fully understood all the difficulties and challenges my injuries caused. She has healing hands! Within 7 weeks my injury significantly improved, pain was minimum and I had a personalised exercise programme. I will always be eternally grateful to her, and all the staff at WDC.

I visited WDC after getting a hip injury through running. The issue was quickly diagnosed and I was offered a rehab plan. After 2 months on the rehab plan I am now back to running. I have been meaning to write this for the last few weeks.I have come across WDC via a Facebook add and then I am so glad I clicked it and main reason I thought let's explore it cause it was very close to home. Secondly I wanted to just have better posture and work on my body.I am so lucky to have come across this service, they were amazing from the start, extremely friendly team, the studio is nice and clean and people who attends are all seem to be so nice too! We laugh and do the pilates together! It's also feel one to one as the groups are not massive at all!I paid for 6 weeks but I am surely continuing and I feel the money is reasonable of what I am getting! The trainers pushes you but also encourages you. I am enjoying it and I am seeing gradual changes.Thank you for all your hard work, you guys are doing a great job!

I have scoliosis of the spine and back issues. I had an assessment and joined their Pilates class, it’s great! I’m now pain free and highly recommend WD Physio. The people are extremely knowledgeable, kind, considerate and welcoming. I rate this place 10/10!

I met the WDC team back in summer 2023 in Garons Park at the health & wellbeing event. Here I was introduced to Jack & Vaish, who spoke about the HEDS pilates sessions they had started, to bring those with EDS a safe group, with expertise in the EDS condition and being able to participate in pilates. I started these sessions in September, and have continued to go to these sessions weekly.I added physio sessions with Vaish early this year, to tackle ongoing issues with pain and mobility, as a result of EDS, specifically patellafemoral instabilities. In this time, Vaish has been phenomenal. She is patient, reassuring and has gone out of her way to support me in my quest, to restrenghten and mobilise more confidently. I have never left WDC without a smile or much laughter. My sessions have always been filled with laughter, and have provided me with a safe place to chat and learn. She puts up with my quirks, setbacks and adapted needs. I genuinely look forward to coming in to each session.The rest of the team are amazing too. Dawn, you are brilliant, you are so supportive, a shoulder to lean on or a needed hug when required. Front of house Eloise and Rhiannon, your warm greetings and chat before and after sessions, as well as being flexible to my ever changing needs, thank-you. Bobby, you are great at keeping everything in fine order, and always say hello. Jack, I haven't had a session with you (my fault entirely), but you keep me entertained every week, the toe sock competition and banter, this has kept my smile going. Super physiotherapist - having torn my MCL and medial meniscus (right knee) the plan of care provided by Megan was spot on, driven by pain reduction initially, followed by muscle strengthening and repair. 8 weeks ago, I limped through the doors and had no idea what to expect; my GP had shown no interest in helping me in terms of a referral. Megan explained everything in detail and answered any questions I had, putting my mind at rest. I trusted the process and walked away (without a limp) and armed with knowledge that I will take with me for the rest of my life. We had many laughs along the way too. Special mention also to Vaishnavi and Jack who also provided physio when Megan's calendar didn't match mine. The care and attention was consistently strong. Also many thanks to Rhianna and Eloise on the front desk who always provided a warm welcome, smiles and were superb at putting customers at ease.

Attending due to a Calf Injury. Both Megan & Heemanshi treated me over the treatment plan, and during the time they were fabulous. Always friendly, bossy when needed (when i wasn't resting as prescribed or exercising as required) and above all, very good at getting positive results. They are very knowledgeable, the whole team at WDC is friendly, and i may well even miss attending now I'm better.

A BIG THANK YOU TO MEGANI had a problem with my right knee. Megan has been a star.She is so welcoming, her explanations, both of issues and treatment, are extremely clear. This gave me confidence in the treatment and exercises.Her professional approach was commended. Her deep muscle massages, second to none, and I survived! Felt so good afterwards. I have just finished my 8 week course of treatment for a hip impingement which I had been suffering pain with for almost 3 years. I am now pain free and able to move around with ease. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Now looking forward to starting Pilates with them!

I was in a bad place and couldn’t get help from my GP so found WDC via Google. I was in excruciating pain with my lower back but from the moment you step in there, you are welcomed by the most wonderful people. The receptionists are fantastic at making you feel at ease, and the physios are just as lovely. I had Jack and Veronica and you can tell they are experts in their field. They explained my symptoms and devised a plan for me to follow throughout my care. They made me feel normal and I actually looked forward to my sessions. I work in mental health and they understood that the pain I was in was affecting my well-being and this I found was the most wonderful thing about them. I now feel back to my normal self, where I can play with my children and not fear when I am next going to be in pain. I understand about posture and how simple things can prevent and long term issues and this is something I continue to practice. Thank all of you at WDC, especially Jack, Veronica, Rhianna and Tom; don’t ever change. Cannot recommend enough x

People say a drink can impair your judgment but it helped me to request a free screening when it popped up on facebook while on holiday.From the start I was made to feel so welcome and at ease. I took up an offer for a free posture consultation, I saw Jack who carried out the consultation, what an eye opener that was! I have suffered from back pain for more years than I can remember, seeing the results of the posture photos it was a shock to me how out of line I was, but, speaking with Jack he explained what was happening which I now realise was causing my pain! I booked in for physio, 3 x a week for 4 weeks and then 2 x a week for 4 weeks, WOW, what a difference it has made! I thought my back was the issue, it transpires that the muscles in my legs and bum are so tight, like a drum, that this was causing much of the pain! I have had sessions with, Veronica, Jack, Sean and Kevin everyone has been fantastic, I came away with exercises to do at home and the change has been amazing! I’m now doing Pilates with Veronica each week and it’s fantastic, thank you all so much for all you hard work and dedication, without you I’d still be in pain! What a wonderful team you are, everyone is so professional and friendly, I can’t name you all but you know who you are!! Thank you again Shirl (Stedman).

I’m currently just into my second week of an 8 week course of sessions to help fix my back issues and hopefully live a more mobile and pain free life.I’m already seeing improvement in my range of movement after having my lower back muscles released, and although the treatment might not always be comfortable (turning solid and rigid muscles into supple pliable ones takes some work!) I am so happy with the progress so far and the easing of the day to day pain that I am already feeling.
